The Program will launch a series of programs for Workshops,
Seminars, and Forums in the fields of Islamic law, finance and insurance.
The programs will undoubtedly prove to be highly popular and attract audiences
from highly prestigious financial, legal, accounting, business and academic
organizations.
The aim is to diffuse and disseminate information about developments in the Islamic financial system, to exchange views, share experiences and to highlight the opportunities and problems associated with the Islamic financial system.
The programs will be a success from the very start and attracted highly distinguished audiences, representing major financial institutions including major banks and prominent law and accounting firms.
The Workshops consist of a group of students, in collaboration with academic and professional advisors, organizing lectures, speaker series, symposia, exchange of working papers, etc... Academic, visiting scholars, professionals, graduate and undergraduate students come together in multidisciplinary scholarly exchange of research-in-progress, in considerations of perspectives on current and non-current issues in the academic field of Islamic studies. Within the parameters of "Islam and Muslim societies," there are no limitations on a potential topic or agenda for a Workshop.
Who Should Attend?
The program is designed for relative newcomers to Islamic banking and finance seeking to become familiar with the concepts in a relatively short time. It is also useful for banking, insurance and law professionals seeking a refresher course and/or wishing to appreciate the basic mechanics of Islamic capitalism concepts from a broad perspective.
